Project 46 offers multiple membership levels to accommodate a range of stakeholders committed to working together for a more resilient Southern Indiana. Activities
Set vision and priorities for the Alliance’s regional climate resilience agenda.
Approve charters, subcommittee structures, and leadership (chairs/co-chairs) proposed by the Advisory Committee.
Ensure alignment of Alliance efforts with local, state, and federal policy priorities.
Oversee finances and funding decisions.
Represent the Alliance publicly at key meetings, conferences, and with funders.
Evaluate progress of the Alliance and adjust priorities as needed.
Support Alliance cohesion by resolving conflicts and ensuring equity, transparency, and inclusion in decision-making.

Eligible Members:
Businesses, Nonprofits, Community Based OrganizationsAnnual Dues:
For profit entities with revenues:Over $1 million: $10,000 annually
Totaling between $250,000 to $1 million: $5,000 annually
Less than $250,000: $1,000 annually
Academic or non-governmental organizations:
$1,000 or equivalent amount of in-kind support annually.

Opportunity to help guide regional actions by serving on subcommittees such as renewable energy, green infrastructure, community engagement, governance, funding, etc.
At the invitation of members, the ability to participate in grant applications and awards
Ability to attend quarterly Steering Committee meetings
Recognition of high impact actions and events
Positive contribution to environmental initiatives benefitting the region
Activities:
Recruit new advisory members (especially nonprofits, CBOs, businesses, and mission-aligned organizations) to strengthen capacity.
Envision and propose subcommittees around specific sustainability or climate topics; identify potential chairs/co-chairs.
Engage communities by:
Sharing Alliance news and resources
Inviting individuals and organizations to join as general members
Promoting sign-ups for newsletters and events
Participate in outreach activities, including tabling at community events.
Help develop communication tools to increase visibility.
Contribute project ideas that could be advanced if/when funding is secured.
Share grant opportunities that align with the Alliance’s goals
Serve as subject-matter resources to the Steering Committee, providing input on regional needs and emerging opportunities.
